Ronda Day Trip
Ronda is one of the most spectacular historic towns in Andalusia and one of the most popular day trips from the Costa del Sol. Located in the mountains about 100 km from Málaga, the town sits dramatically above the famous El Tajo gorge and offers breathtaking views, historic architecture and authentic Andalusian atmosphere.
Ronda – One of Andalusia’s Most Iconic Destinations
Ronda is best known for the impressive Puente Nuevo bridge that spans the deep El Tajo gorge, connecting the historic old town with the newer part of the city. Rising almost 100 meters above the canyon, the bridge is one of the most photographed landmarks in southern Spain.
Visitors can walk through the charming historic center, enjoy panoramic viewpoints and explore the traditional white-washed streets that make Ronda one of the most picturesque towns in the region.
A Cultural Experience During Your Sport Camp
During longer sport camps and retreats, we sometimes organize optional excursions to Ronda. The trip allows participants to discover the cultural and historical side of Andalusia while enjoying spectacular mountain landscapes and traditional Spanish cuisine.
A visit to Ronda offers a relaxing break between training sessions and gives guests the opportunity to experience one of the most beautiful inland destinations of the Costa del Sol.
